Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development - Circular Economy Campaign case study Our role Rise Creative worked with Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Developement and delivered communication to the wider Auckland Business Industries to learn about and adapt Circular Business Principles to grow individual businesses and develop the Auckland Business Economy through an awareness campaign and attendance to Circular Economy Workshops. The challenge To bring mass awareness of how Auckland could look in 12 years’ . That we could be billions of dollars better off with much lower carbon emissions if we shifted to a circular economy. How do we reach, educate and convert Auckland businesses to learn and adapt these proven circular principles? The solution We created a thoroughly researched marketing strategy and communications plan. To be delivered via two campaigns over 12 months. The launch campaign in 2020 consisted of developing key messages that connect to the hearts of Auckland Businesses. We then rolled out the campaign after clearly defining the channels to reach the target market - business owners and operation managers. The campaigns consisted of created content for a webpage, EDMs, digital programmatic marketing and social (linked in, content / calendar for delivery. This was highly successful reaching over 150,000 impressions. The second campaign in 2021 promoted the Xlabs Circular Economy Business Workshops which were also a success with full capacity attendence and follow throughs to develop individual succession through the campaign.
